A unique addition to the Next-Generation 737 family, the 737-900ER (Extended Range) appeals to the most efficiency-driven airlines. Optional exit doors allow for up to 220 passenger seats and a new flat aft bulkhead creates room for extra galley carts. It can be equipped with up to two additional auxiliary fuel tanks to reach distances of up to 3200 nmi and it weighs an impressive 10,000 pounds less than the A321.
